Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly qualified Performance Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science, although candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the field will also be considered. As a Performance Coach at Method, you will work closely with clients to develop customized fitness programs tailored to their individual needs and goals. You will provide Personal Coaching, Small and Large Group Coaching sessions, conduct Fitness Assessments such as Kinetisense movement screens, and offer guidance on technique, program design, and lifestyle performance goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health and fitness levels with Discovery Analysis intakes and technology, utilizing Kinetisense and InBody
  • Design personalized workout programs based on clients’ performance needs, preferences, and limitations
  • Provide hands-on instruction and supervision to ensure safe, efficient, functional movement
  • Lead and/or participate in staff education, member workshops, and Small Group Training classes
  • Motivate and encourage clients to achieve their health and fitness goals through positive reinforcement and support
  • Track clients’ progress and make adjustments to their programs as needed
  • Educate clients on the importance of a holistic approach to achieving optimal results
  • Stay current on industry trends, research, and best practices in Exercise Science and Personal Coaching
  • Maintain a clean and organized training environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field preferred
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) credential from a recognized organization (e.g., ACSM, NASM, NSCA)
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Trainer or Coach; or Degree in the field with internship
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise prescription
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and establish long-term relationships
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

Hours: Method Health Club is seeking qualified individuals to join our reception team. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, energetic, friendly and dependable. Someone who also has a passion for health and fitness is a plus. As part of our reception team you will be the “face” of the gym to all our members and others who come in our doors. You will be communicating with members, giving support and information, keeping track of accounts and even making sales!

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and welcoming all who come in.
  • Customer service including answering questions, editing memberships, and touring prospective members.
  • Folding towels and ensuring the gym floor is tidy and clean.
  • Running point of sales.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 or older.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification.

Method Heath Club is seeking a highly qualified group fitness instructor to join our team. Ideally, the candidate will be energetic, motivating, and demonstrate ability to instruct in a variety of formats. We are looking for a team member who will be supportive of other instructors and quick to respond when a substitute is needed, contributing to our team dynamics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for and instructing fitness classes to members of all fitness levels.
  • Arriving early to create a pre-class environment and prepare the room for attendees.
  • Instructing classes creating an enjoyable and safe experience for the students.

Qualifications:

  • Current Group Fitness Instruction certification (also preferably a Certified Personal Trainer) from a reputable organization (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, etc).
  • Certification in one or more of the following: Pilates, Zumba, Kickboxing, Pound, High Fitness, etc.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • A strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • A passion for fitness, health and helping others achieve their goals.
